Quebec鈥檚 finance minister meets with 91丝瓜视频 community to talk budget
Quebec鈥檚 finance minister,聽Carlos Leit茫o, is touring the province鈥檚 universities to consult students and other university members ahead of the provincial budget. The agenda is heavy on fiscal policy, public infrastructure investment, regional development and the social safety net. So far, Mr. Leit茫o has been to the University of Sherbrooke, Laval University and Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Trois-Rivi猫res.
On February 6th, he visited 91丝瓜视频 for a Q&A session hosted by the Desautels Faculty of Management. Professor Steve Fortin, Director of the MBA Program at Desautels, was on-hand to moderate as the Minister answered questions posed by members of the 91丝瓜视频 community, including undergraduate and graduate students, as well as University administrators.
Mr. Leit茫o complete his Bachelor of Arts聽at 91丝瓜视频 in 1979. Before entering politics, he was an economist at the Royal Bank of Canada, then chief economist at the Laurentian Bank of Canada.
