 epreneur\, she is CEO of Hammock Facilitation and a co-founder of two medi
 cal device start-ups OrthoMX Inc and FIVAMed Inc. Barbara’s career has spa
 nned biotech start-ups\, university technology transfer\, business develop
 ment consulting and the founding and formation of several medical technolo
 gy companies. Over her career\, Barbara has faced a broad range of intelle
 ctual property challenges and in her keynote address she will be sharing t
 he strategies learned from these challenges.\n	\n	Living in Colour speaks to
  the full spectrum of intellectual property Barbara has seen in her portfo
 lios — from copyright protection\, trademark protection\, composition of m
 atter and use patents\, even to design patents and plant variety rights.\n
