 g Advantage of QICSS Resoucres\nSince 2006\, 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ researchers can freely
  access on campus nearly a hundred of Statistics Canada micro-detailed dat
 abases in the Quebec Interuniversity Centre for Social Statistics (QICSS) 
 Laboratory in Peterson Hall. Several of these databases allow researchers 
 to explore issues relevant to the fields of educational psychology and lea
 rning sciences.\nThe goal of this presentation is to provide an overview o
 f:\n\n\nthe context surrounding the creation of QICSS and its objectives\;
 \nthe content and research possibilities of the datasets most used by rese
 archers in psycho-education\;\nthe requirements to obtain access to the da
 ta\, the work environment and mode of  operation of the laboratory\;\nthe 
 training\, scientific and knowledge transfer activities organised by QICSS
 .\n\n\nThis seminar will also be an opportunity to identify the services a
 nd activities that could be developed by QICSS to better respond to the ne
 eds and expectations of faculty and graduate students involved in the Lear
