 \nThe Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism\, the Human Rights Worki
 ng and the Disability and Law Portfolio at the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Faculty of Law\, wel
 come students and community members to participate in the second of four s
 eminars in the series\, Disability\, Human Rights and the Law 2012-13.\nTh
 e extent to which governments may limit a person’s right to legal capacity
  proved a contentious issue in drafting the CRPD. Its translation into dai
 ly life impacts access to justice and judicial review\, health and housing
 \, financial\, property and asset management of persons with disabilities.
  Amidst ongoing UN discussions on the interpretation and full implementati
 on of article 12\, this seminar will discuss legal and non-legal issues\, 
 challenges and steps to overcoming lingering barriers.\nThe seminar will b
 e moderated by Derek J. Jones (member of the Research Group on Health and 
 Law and of the CHRLP).\nAnna MacQuarrie (Human Rights Officer at Inclusion
  International)\, Michael N. Bergman (lawyer\; founder of the Legal Inform
 ation Clinic at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ)\, and Roger Bill (law student\; Human Rights Inter
 n at Disability Rights International) will serve as resource persons.\nRea
