DESCRIPTION:The CREATE-ISS Summer School aims to introduce cutting-edge\nre
 search in the design\, fabrication and testing of sensor devices\,\nthe de
 velopment of materials that are required for sensors\, the\nprocessing of 
 signals obtained from sensors\, sensor integration\,\npackaging and applic
 ations of developed sensors in many areas. It\nalso combines this knowledg
 e with the legislations that sensor\nsystems are subject to.\nLast year’s 
 CREATE-ISS Summer School had close to 60\nparticipants including students\
 , academics and local industry. We\nare anticipating that this year the Su
 mmer School will be attended\nby up to 130 participants. Like the first Su
 mmer School\, the\nsymposium will include 8 speakers from university and\n
 industry  on career and research topics\, as well as poster\nsession and p
 resentations from selected students on their recent\nresearch. \nThe 2012 
 CREATE-ISS Summer School will focus on the design\,\nfabrication and testi
 ng of sensor devices\, particularly MEMS and\nbiosensors.\nRegistration an
 d poster submission are open until May 1\,\n2012\n
