 umanities Research Council (SSHRC) will\nbe holding an information session
  for 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and other universities\nwith the purpose of communicating impo
 rtant program information to\nfaculty members and administrators.\nThis se
 ssion will be given by SSHRC Program Officers Mr.\nSébastien Demers and Mr
 . Gianni Rossi\, and will be aimed at\npresenting the various funding oppo
 rtunities offered by SSHRC as\nwell as providing updates on recent changes
  to program\nrequirements. One of the changes to be discussed during this
 \nsession is the recent introduction of a mandatory Notification of\nInten
 t (NOI) stage to the Insight Grants competition (an applicant\nwho has not
  submitted an NOI by August 15\, 2012 will be\nineligible to submit a full
  application to the\nOctober 2012 competition).\nThis session will be give
 n via videoconference and a Q&A\nperiod by telephone will follow after the
