 ntific affairs at\nCIHR and provides CIHR with expert advice on matters re
 levant to\nscience and technology\, potential opportunities and emerging\n
 orientations and trends in the national and international health\nresearch
  community. As VP\, Research\, she is responsible for all\naspects of adju
 dication of grants and awards at CIHR. Finally\, as a\nmember of the Scien
 tific Council\, she participates in the\ndevelopment\, implementation\, an
