He has taught at\nseveral universities\, including Columbia and NYU. His most recent\nbook is 'Does the Elephant Dance? Contemporary Indian\nForeign Policy'. In it\, Dr Malon e elegantly surveys key\nfeatures of contemporary Indian foreign policy an d identifies\nrelevant aspects of Indian history\, examines the role of do mestic\npolitics and internal and external security challenges\, and of\nd omestic and international economic factors. He analyzes the\nspecifics of India's policy within its South Asian neighborhood\,\nand with respect to China\, the USA\, West Asia\, East Asia\, Europe\,\nand Russia as well as multilateral diplomacy.
