This program is\nintended to foster the development of new re search partnerships\nbetween academic researchers and companies that have never\ncollaborated together before\, by supporting short-term research an d\ndevelopment projects aimed at addressing a company-specific problem\nin the natural sciences or engineering fields.\nConnect Canada\nConnect Cana da is a federally-funded\, national internship\nprogram that links Canadia n companies with graduate students and\npost-doctoral fellows for research placements. Open to companies in\nany sector and students in any field\, Connect Canada is a\ncost-effective way for companies to conduct R&D while providing\nstudents with an opportunity to enhance their graduate studies \nwhile gaining real-world experience.
