 As a result\, 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ is developing two documents that will serve\nas the p
 illars of our research and educational plans in the coming\nyears. They ar
 e the Strategic\nResearch Plan (SRP)\, led by the Office of the Vice-Princ
 ipal\n(Research and International Relations)\, and ASAP 2012: Achieving\nS
 trategic Academic Priorities\, headed by the Office of the\nProvost.\nNow 
 it’s your turn to make your voice heard! Vice-Principal\n(Research and Int
 ernational Relations) Rose Goldstein and Professor\nAnthony C. Masi\, Prov
 ost\, invite faculty\, postdocs\, graduate\nstudents\, and undergraduates 
 to offer their feedback at an Open\nForum on how 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s research enterpr
 ise and priorities will\nevolve over the next five years.\nAs part of exte
 nsive consultation processes for both\ndocuments\, Professor Masi and Dr. 
 Goldstein will be on\nhand to hear your comments and respond to your quest
 ions about the\nSRP and ASAP 2012. They are also interested in better unde
 rstanding\nyour own views about the future of research at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.\nThis Op
 en Forum will include discussions on how 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ can:\n\nFocus resources wh
 ile continuing to support research excellence\nwherever it is found\;\nEnh
 ance successful interdisciplinary exchange\, education\, and\nresearch\;\n
 Encourage faculty\, staff\, and students to engage in greater\ncommunity o
 utreach in Quebec\, across Canada\, and around the\nworld.\n\n\n\nThis Ope
 n Forum is just one of a series of SRP and ASAP 2012\nevents scheduled for
  fall 2011\, and you are strongly encouraged to\ncome out and be a part of
  the consultation process. The SRP and\nASAP 2012 will guide 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s deci
 sion making and provide clarity\nfor internal and external stakeholders as
  the University positions\nitself to excel in in a changing research and e
