 ng\noff! The Faculty of Law will host a number of activities over the\nwee
 k articulated under the vast theme of immaterial law in\nintellectual prop
 erty (IP). Please join us.\nIP Week is organized by the Center of Intellec
 tual Property\nPolicy (CIPP) of 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ (http://cipp.mcgill.ca/)
 .\nOn the program this year: meetings with practitioners\, take-away\nexhi
 bits\, debates between academics\, and a guest of honour!\nMeet Practition
 ers\nDuring the first half of the week\, practitioners from large\nMontrea
 l firms will come share their passion and experience\npracticing law in th
 eir respective realms of expertise in IP. We'll\nbe hearing about trademar
 ks over famous whiskeys and chocolates\,\nproperty in virtual worlds\, inf
 ringing Santa Clauses and patents\nover optical equipment.\nParticipate in
  IP debates\nCome participate in academic debates featuring well-known\nth
 inkers in IP from Canada\, the UK and the USA during three\nengaging and p
 rovocative seminars.\nClothesline Exhibits\nThere will be intellectual pro
 perty hanging on clotheslines in\nthe Atrium during the week. Early in the
  week\, the works of\nAlbert Camus\, a French author who died in 1960\,\nw
 ill be on display. His works have recently rolled into the public\ndomain 
 in Canada but not in France.  Come grab your copy!\nNext\, the electro-psy
 chedelic stylings of Misteur\nValaire\, a Quebec band that offers its work
  online for a\nvoluntary donation\, will be on display in the Atrium. CDs 
 will be\navailable to students for an amount of their choosing. How much\n
 will you pay for culture? Should we pay to maintain the public\ndomain as 
 was proposed by Victor Hugo?\nGuest of Honour\nFinally\, on September 15\,
  Guillaume Déziel\,\nmanager of Misteur Valaire\, will be at the Faculty. 
 He will be\nbringing a custom mixtape of Misteur Valaire material for McGi
 ll\nstudents\, as well as giving a presentation on his innovative\nbusines
