 nt must be registered with CaPS for the Fall 2011\nsession by paying the $
 65 student service fee in person at the CaPS\noffice (Brown Bldg\, 3600 Mc
 Tavish St.\, Room 2200) in order to\nparticipate in the September campaign
 . The CaPS fee entitles you to\nall activities\, workshops and specialized
  programs provided by\nCaPS. Becoming a member of the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Accounting So
 ciety\n(MAS) is a separate process .  There is a registration fee\nthat in
 cludes your participation at the MAS Accounting\nCocktail.  For full detai
 ls on how to participate in the CA\nRecruitment Campaign 2011 can be found
  on myFuture or by going to\nthe MAS website.\nIMPORTANT DATES\n\nSept. 1 
 - Sept. 10: Register with the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Accounting Society\n(MAS). Tables wil
 l be set-up in the Bronfman Building Lobby. It is\nimportant to become a m
 ember to participate in the MAS Cocktail\nEvent and to be on the distribut
 ion list for key\ncommunications.\n\nSept. 1: Kick -Off Information Sessio
 n from 5:45-7:00pm in Leacock\n26\, on the accounting recruitment process 
 given by the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ\nManagement Accounting Society and the Career Planning
  Service\n(CaPS). Its purpose is to inform you of what to expect during th
 e\nrecruiting period. No registration required!\nSept. 2 - Sept. 21: Firms
  hold tours\, workshops\, and cocktails\nto promote themselves. This is yo
 ur chance to find out about the\ndifferent firms and meet both recruiters 
 and current interns. To\nattend events you must register online through my
 Future. From your\nhomepage click on Events\, followed by Information Sess
 ions and\nSelect the information type from the dropdown menu and click on 
 the\nsearch button. Please note that all recruiters will be receiving a\nc
 opy of the sign-up sheet and they typically take attendance.\nTherefore\, 
 it is strongly suggested that if you sign up for a firm\ntour\, that you h
 onor your commitment. Failure to show up for a firm\ntour is not looked up
 on favorably. You should also peruse the\nworkshop section under Events fo
 r any accounting related workshops\nbeing offered by Career Services.  Fir
 m tours and\nworkshops held between September 2nd - 9th are now available 
 for\nsign-up on myFuture.  Firm tours and workshops taking place\nbetween 
 September 9th - 21st will be available to sign-up as of\nSeptember 2nd.\nS
 ept. 12: MAS Accounting Cocktail from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm\,\nattended by all
  the firms participating in the accounting\nrecruitment\, including those 
 that opted not to offer tours. You\nMUST be there dressed in business atti
 re. Your MAS membership fee\nincludes attendance at this Cocktail (it must
  be paid for in\nadvance).\n\nSept. 22: Applications are due at 12:00PM ( 
 noon) - for\nQuebec\n A listing of all firms recruiting for both\npermanen
 t and summer positions will be available on the MAS Website\nas well as a 
 description on how to apply to each firm. Similar to\nlast year\, it will 
 no longer be necessary to PRINT CACEE forms to\nsubmit your application. A
 ll firms have provided either an email\naddress or a website to receive al
 l the student applications. Note\nthat it is NOT necessary to wait until t
 he deadline day to send\nyour applications. Career Services will NO LONGER
  be the drop off\npoint for your applications.\n\nSept. 26 - Oct 5: Interv
 iews take place\n\nOct. 17-24: Offers are extended\nOct. 24: Deadline to A
 ccept/Decline Offer\nIMPORTANT CACEE INFORMATION\nAll Students participati
 ng in CA Accounting Recruitment must\nemail a completed Application Summar
 y Sheet to the\nZahra.Ladhani [at] mcgill.ca no later than Oct 24th. The f
 orm will also\nbe available on the MAS website in early September. This is
  a\nmandatory step in the application process.\nQuebec firms will require 
 a CACEE form to apply. Out of province\nfirms usually require a resume and
  cover letter. Transcript is\nalways required. Download the CACEE form fro
 m http://www.masonline.info/CACEEForm.doc\nand fill it out. To view a samp

 .pdf. \nNote\, it can take several hours to complete\, so don't wait until
