 the Canadian Centre for International Justice\, in partnership with\nthe M
 cGill Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism.\nAfter a sold-out first
  edition\, this unique course on\ninternational justice returns to Montrea
 l for a second\nyear.\nTaught by some of Canada's leading experts in\ninte
 rnational justice\, this course explores both the\nlegal and practical iss
 ues involved in the pursuit\nof justice for war crimes\, crimes against hu
 manity\,\ngenocide and torture.\nThe course has two modules. Module I\, ta
 ught in\nEnglish\, provides a general introduction to the field\nof intern
 ational justice that is aimed not just at lawyers and\nlaw students\, but 
 students\, academics\, and professionals\nwith an interest in these issues
 . Module II\, taught in French\,\nprovides a more focused overview of the 
 legal\nprocesses through which individuals can be held civilly\nand crimin
 ally accountable in Canada and abroad for\ninternational crimes. This year
 \, module II also includes\na set of updated course options for participan
 ts who\nattended the course last year or who are already knowledgeable\nab
 out international justice.\nThe two modules provide 12 hours of CLE activi
 ty accredited by\nthe Barreau du Québec and qualifies as CLE activity with
  the Law\nSociety of Upper Canada.\nCost for the entire course: $350 for l
 awyers\;\n$225 for academics and NGOs\; $100\nfor students and retirees.\n
