 25 Years of Student Costuming in 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s Drama and\nTheatre Program\nCura
 ted by Samuel Neuberg (U2\,\nArts)\n \nAt Convocation this year be sure to
  catch the costume exhibit:\nDesigning the Student Body. The exhibit explo
 res the past\n25 years of costumes that have been made by 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Drama and
 \nTheatre Program students for English Department Productions. Hidden\nawa
 y in the basement of the Arts Building\, the Costume Shop is home\nto stud
 ents with a passion for creativity in costuming and design.\nUnknown to ma
 ny\, every year a team of talented students works\nbehind the scenes in Co
 stuming for the Theatre 1 and 2 –\nthe costume production courses – in whi
 ch students are responsible\nfor all aspects of the design and production 
 of the costumes worn\nby student actors in that year’s two main stage show
 s. Under the\nguidance of Resident Costume Designer and Head of Wardrobe\,
 \nCatherine Bradley\, students must think creatively as they learn the\nin
 s-and-outs of designing and dressing a full scale theatrical\nproduction.
 \n \nDesigning the Student Body recognizes all the hard work\ndone by the 
 students who create the garments that bring a\nproduction to life.  Runnin
 g daily from 11am-3pm\, May 30th to\nJune 2nd \, the exhibit will display 
 selected garments from past\nproductions such as: Shakespeare’s The Tempes
 t ('93)\,\nGoldoni’s The Servant of Two Masters ('95)\, Molière’s\nTartuff
 e ('93)\, Wilde’s The Importance of Being\nErnest ('08)\, and this year's 
 main stage production\, Jonson’s\nThe Alchemist ('11). Located in the Cost
 ume Shop itself\,\nthe exhibit gives the public a rare opportunity to view
  both the\ncostumes\, and the very space in which these garments are made.
 \n \nA unique opportunity for students\, parents\, faculty and alumni\nali
 ke\, this exhibit is not to be missed!\n
