DESCRIPTION:The NSERC CREATE Integrated Sensor System Training Program\nis 
 pleased to announce a new hands-on workshop on the integration\nof sensor 
 systems to be held at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ\non May 16th-17th\, 2011- 9am to 5
 pm.\nThe 2 day workshop will be taught by Professor Zeljko\nZilic\, of the
  91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ department of Electrical and Computer\nEngineering\, and will aim 
 to introduce and expand on how to design\nand integrate multiple sensors i
 nto a functioning system.\n\nWorkshop Summary:\nHarnessing the capabilitie
 s of systems integrating multiple\nsensors requires significant design ski
 lls. In this intensive\ncourse/workshop\, we explain the main topics in in
 tegrating multiple\nsensors in larger systems and demonstrate and practice
  them in the\nlab\, on a modern board with multiple MEMS movement sensors
 \noperating in 3 dimensions.\nThe course should be of interest to audience
  intending to\nintegrate sensors within larger systems\, to those wishing 
 to\nprovide sensors amenable to integration\, as well as to understand\nho
 w to deal with numerous issues in integration\, from compensating\nfor non
 -idealities\, calibrating\, noise filtering\, to sensor data\nfusion.\n\nT
 he workshop is open to all ISS students (costs covered)\, and for\nfees of
  $100 to non-ISS students based on availability. \nFull details are posted
