He studied\npsychology at the Hebrew University\, worked for the Israeli \nTelevision for 15 years and published his first novel at the age of\n40. Since then he has published 6 novels\, 12 children’s books and 4\ncollect ions of essays. He is also a columnist with the Israeli\ndaily Yediot Ahar onot. His books have been translated into over 20\nlanguages and have been bestsellers in Israel\, Holland and Germany.\nHe is the recipient of many prizes\, among them the Juliet Club\nPrize (Italy)\, the Prime Minister's Prize (Israel)\, the Chiavari\nPrize (Italy)\, the Entomological Prize (I srael)\, the Wizo Prize\n(France\, Israel and Italy).
