Under the slogan « c’est le\ntemps que ça change  »\, the Liberal « équipe du\ntonnerre » put forward a vast series of healt h\, education\,\nculture\, economic and political reforms that sought to m odernize\nthe Quebec state\, build a new middle class and transform Quebec \nsociety.\nIn the fifty years since the 1960 election\, historians\,\naca demics\, politicians and the general public have vigorously\ndebated the n ature of the Quiet Revolution and its impact. This\nproject\, however\, lo oks to return to the actors involved in these\nreforms to get their perspe ctives on these events and shed light on\nsome of the myths and symbols ab out the Quiet Revolution and living\nin the 1960s and 1970s Quebec.\nBeyon d well-known politicians of that period like Jean Lesage\,\nRené Lévesque and Georges-Émile Lapalme\, many important actors of\nthat period are stil l alive and will greatly contribute to a better\nunderstanding of the peri od which seems increasingly distinct from\ntoday’s reality.
