 ing room and a multimedia exhibit of posters from 40 years of\nsocial move
 ments in Québec related to media. The event is open to\nthe public and wil
 l provide a venue for discussing topics such as\ncontent creation using di
 verse technology platforms and applying\ncollaborative models for citizen 
 media.\nThe central question – How is citizen media being used by civil\ns
 ociety\, independent journalists\, media practitioners and others to\nbett
 er inform the public\, and to what effect? – will be addressed\nin the mor
