 e Student Association. This conference\nseeks to enhance collegial and sch
 olarly exchange by bringing\ntogether a range of graduate students\, profe
 ssors and academics\nfrom Canada and abroad.\nThe theme of the conference 
 examines the various historical\nmoments that make up our everyday\, explo
 ring the tensions that\nemerge between the 'real' and the perceived that m
 anifest\nthemselves within everyday practices. Through the examination of
 \nthe built environment\, media networks\, films or texts\, the tensions\n
 of the ‘everyday’ experience become more apparent. The everyday\,\nthrough
  its lived realities and other fictions\, can become more\nthan just our r
 equisite critical ‘context’\, it has the potential to\nbecome a\, or perha
 ps the\, common site of collective mediation.\nThe 2010 keynote lecture wi
 ll be presented by Dr. Monica Kin\nGagnon\,'Posthumous Cinema: Reflections
  on the Creative Animation of\nArchives.'\n \n
