 and Math”. Professor Nelson was awarded the\nCarnegie Professor of the Yea
 r award in 2000\, and focuses on\ndeveloping critical thinking skills and 
 deeper understanding in\nstudents. The seminar is open to all faculty and 
 graduate students\nin the Faculty of Science who wish to improve their tea
 ching.\n\nThe seminar will take place on Wednesday\, April 7th\, 2010\, fr
 om\n10:00 am to 3:00 pm\, in the Thomson House ballroom (3650 McTavish).\n
