She obtained her PhD in 2006 and an MS in 2002\nin Animal Nutriti on at Cornell University. In addition\, she serves\nas an advisor to the R esearch and Monitoring Unit of the Uganda\nWildlife Authority\, the govern ment authority that manages protected\nareas in Uganda\, and is on the Sci entific Advisory Board of\nConservation Through Public Health\, a Ugandan based NGO.
