 partment\nof Anthropology at Hunter College of the City University of New

 or to her current positions\, she was a postdoctoral fellow at\n91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Uni
 versity. She obtained her PhD in 2006 and an MS in 2002\nin Animal Nutriti
 on at Cornell University. In addition\, she serves\nas an advisor to the R
 esearch and Monitoring Unit of the Uganda\nWildlife Authority\, the govern
 ment authority that manages protected\nareas in Uganda\, and is on the Sci
 entific Advisory Board of\nConservation Through Public Health\, a Ugandan 
 based NGO. Her\nresearch focuses on the nutrition\, ecology and conservati
 on of\nmountain gorillas and forest monkeys in Uganda\, where she has\nwor
 ked for over 13 years to understand how primates meet their\nnutritional n
 eeds under a variety of environmental\, physiological\nand social constrai
 nts.\n
