 menon and its\nreception by laymen and scientists from the perspectives of
 \npersonality psychology and the philosophy of science.\nFriday\, Nov. 5 -
 -UFOs: the Psychology and the\nEvidence\nDonderi describes the UFO phenome
 non\, including some personally\ninvestigated cases. After summarizing mor
 e than sixty years of\ngovernment and scientific reaction to UFOs\, he dis
 cusses how the\nphenomenon itself has evolved since the first widely repor
 ted North\nAmerican sighting in 1947. After considering how UFOs might wor
 k\,\nhe justifies support for the thesis that some UFOs are\nextra-terrest
 rial\, and he discusses that idea in the context of\nmodern science. Follo
 wed by the recently released 1956 documentary\nfilm Unidentified Flying Ob
 jects which\ncontains well-known but seldom-seen UFO camera footage.\n
