 zed and ill\, she lost her bid for\nelection. Her only child was murdered 
 in related violence.\nShe has toured Canada to promote awareness of violen
 ce against\nwomen\, and what women like her face when they seek to challen
 ge\nestablished political structures.\nFlora is committed to telling her s
 tory - she has started an NGO\ncalled 'Terah against Terror' (http://xterr
 or.org). Because of recent threats against\nher life she has received asyl
 um in Canada.\nFlora has recently written a book about her experience\, 'T
