Kim has brought her \ninsight and experience to bear on the importance of tackling\nsystemic s ocial problems through coalition work. In this capacity\,\nshe has worked with feminist legal scholars\, lawyers\, sociologists\,\nand front-line tr ansition house and rape crisis centre workers\, to\nname only a few of the communities and individuals with which she\nengages daily in her position as Executive Director of the\nElizabeth Fry Societies of Canada. Kim is m other to Michael and\nMadison. She is a lawyer and a part-time professor a t the\nUniversity of Ottawa\, Faculty of Law teacher and is currently\ncom pleting post graduate work in the area of forensic mental\nhealth. Kim is the Executive Director of the Canadian Association\nof Elizabeth Fry Socie ties.\nThe Elizabeth Fry Societies of Canada is a\nfederation of autonomou s societies which work with\, and on behalf\nof\, marginalized\, victimize d\, criminalized and institutionalized\nwomen and girls throughout Canada. \nThe Muriel V. Roscoe Lecture is named after\nProfessor Muriel V. Roscoe\ , a former Chair of the Botany Department\nat 91˿Ƶ and Warden of Royal Victoria College (RVC) for\n22 years.
