 enefactor Casey Wood. Born in Ontario in 1856\, Casey\nWood was educated a
 t Ottawa\, Bishop’s and 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ universities\, with\nfurther studies in Ber
 lin\, Vienna\, Paris and London. He was a\nwidelytravelled ophthalmologist
 \, ornithologist\, author\, translator\,\neditor and bibliophile. Dr. Wood
  maintained his ties to 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and\nbestowed his magnificent collections o
 n the University. The\ntreasures on display are drawn from the holdings of
  Rare Books and\nSpecial Collections\, the Osler Library of the History of
  Medicine\,\nthe Redpath Museum and the Faculty of Medicine.\n
