He was a\nwidelytravelled ophthalmologist \, ornithologist\, author\, translator\,\neditor and bibliophile. Dr. Wood maintained his ties to 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ and\nbestowed his magnificent collections o n the University.
