 ation Studies and\nMedia@91˿����Ƶ.\nThis talk will present Vukov's recent re
 search into some of the\nmedia activist and art practices that have emerge
 d from migrant\njustice organizing networks in a number of locales in the 
 global\nNorth over the past ten years. Challenging the increasing regimes
 \nof closure and securitization of migration in Fortress Europe and\nFortr
 ess North America from an anti-deportation/anti-detention\nperspective\, t
 hese noborder networks have mobilized a range of\nflexible\, innovative ac
 tivist media and art practices in contesting\nthe current governmental reg
 ulation of migration – from the\nanti-deportation campaigns targeting Luft
 hansa and KLM initiated by\nkein mensch ist illegal (no one is illegal) in
  Germany\, to a series\nof Noborder camps\, to more recent media and tacti
 cal art projects\,\nactivist video\, and sound art (Ostojic\, Ramujkic\, L
 es Lucioles\,\nKanak Attack\, SchleuserNet). Drawing on elements of partic
 ipatory\nactivist and militant research practices\, this talk proposes to
 \ninitiate a mapping of and reflection on the tactics and practices\nat wo
 rk in what Angela Mitropoulos calls “noborder media” and its\nrole in the 
 articulation of translocal movements for justice and\nfreedom of movement 
 for migrants and undocumented people.\n
