 iderably—and often dramatically—in\nrecent years. This seminar is intended
  to start a dialogue that\nwill help develop a new understanding of Canada
 ’s potential role in\nworking with developing countries. Co-sponsored by M
 cGill\nUniversity’s new Institute for the Study of International\nDevelopm
 ent (which has absorbed the Centre for Developing-Area\nStudies) and the P
 ublic Policy Forum\, we have convened an\nimpressive array of people with 
 diverse experiences as “development\npractitioners.”\n
