He is a graduate of the University of Pisa and has done \ngraduate work at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa. His\ninterests in clude Romance poetry of the Middle Ages\, the history of\ncriticism and ph ilology\, and contemporary culture.  In\naddition to numerous articles\, h e has published the following\nbooks:  Versi a un destinatario.
