One of the most\ncontroversial aspe cts of the convention is article six\, which calls\nfor the social and phy sical rehabilitation and reintegration of\nlandmine victims. This article is widely thought to have paved the\nway for the recently adopted Internat ional Convention on the Rights\nof Persons with Disabilities.\nOver ten ye ars after the signing of the Ottawa Convention\, how\nis the convention be ing implemented? Have the actual problems of\nlandmine survivors in develo ping countries been addressed?
