 inar on mental\nhealth care in Africa.\nEstablished in the Ivory Coast in 
 Africa and founded by\nMr. Grégoire Ahongbonon\, the Association\nSaint-Ca
 mille de Lellis defends the rights and freedoms of\npersons with mental he
 alth problems.\nIn this corner of the world\, families nail or chain to tr
 ees\nthose unlucky individuals who are considered « crazy » by their\nfami
 ly and their community. They are left isolated from their\nvillages for pr
 olonged periods of time that can last up to several\nyears.\nThe Associati
 on unchains these persons\, gives\nthem the health and social care\nthat i
 s necessary\, and assists them in reintegrating into their\nfamily and the
 ir village. Stigma is a universal phenomenon in\nmental health. The Associ
 ation works to change the shame felt by\nfamily members which is at the ro
 ot of these acts. To date the\nAssociation has succeeded in freeing and re
 integrating thousands of\npeople into their families and into their villag
