 s members of the media and the public to attend a\nspecial advance Remembr
 ance Day ceremony on November\n6\, as a delegation of veterans from the St
 e. Anne’s\nVeteran’s Hospital gathers at the War Memorial to commemorate t
 he\nmen and women who have served Canada in times of war.\nFaculty\, staff
  and students from Macdonald College\, John Abbott\nCollege and Macdonald 
 High School are extending an invitation to\nthe public to join with them a
 t the War Memorial\, located in front\nof the Raymond Building\, at 10:30 
 a.m. this Thursday.\nThe ceremony will feature a procession\, which will c
 ommence at\n10:15 a.m. at the entrance to the Raymond Building. It will th
 en\nmove through the complex to the entrance of the Macdonald-Stewart\nBui
 lding\, before proceeding to the Centennial Centre\, and finally\nover to 
 the front of Laird Hall. At that moment\, the procession\nwill merge with 
 another procession arriving from John Abbott\nCollege. Both processions wi
 ll then move on to the memorial.\nChandra Madramootoo\, Dean of Macdonald 
 College’s Faculty of\nAgricultural and Environmental Sciences\, says the M
 acdonald\ncommunity is holding the ceremony five days before Remembrance D
 ay\nbecause the veterans will have other ceremonies to attend on\nNovember
  11.\n“By having this event earlier\, we want to make sure that we\nhonour
  our veterans and have them present at our ceremony\,” said\nMadramootoo. 
 “This is a moving tribute to the sacrifice that they\nhave paid\, for us a
 nd for our freedom. We are truly honoured to\nhave them here on our campus
 .”\n
