DESCRIPTION:Hans Wildiers started medical studies at the Katholieke\nUniver
 siteit Leuven in 1989 and graduated magna cum laude in\n1996. After clinic
 al training he became an F.W.O.-aspirant (Fonds\nvoor Wetenschappelijk Ond
 erzoek-Vlaanderen) and obtained a PhD\ncertificate on September 2003 for w
 hich he received the Amgen award\n2004 of the Belgian Society of Medical O
 ncology (BSMO) and the\nPfizer educational grant KULeuven 2004. The resear
 ch concerned the\ntopic of blood vessels and tumor uptake of anticancer dr
 ugs. He\nbecame specialist in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology on\nM
 arch 2004 and is since then staff member at the department of\nmedical onc
 ology in the University Hospital Gasthuisberg Leuven. He\nis specifically 
 active in the field of breast cancer and geriatric\noncology. Since July 2
 003\, he is the belgian national\nrepresentative of SIOG\, the internation
 al society of geriatric\noncology\, and is board member of several task fo
 rces within SIOG\n(breast cancer in the elderly\, chemotherapy in the elde
 rly\, renal\nfunction and chemotherapy). He is also board member of the Be
 lgian\nSociety of Medical Oncology (BSMO) since 2007. Since November 2006\
 ,\nhe is secretary of the task force cancer in the elderly of the\nEuropea
 n Organization of Research and Treatment of Cancer\n(EORTC).\nCindy Kenis 
 is a geriatric oncology nurse working at the\nUniversity Hospitals Leuven 
 in Belgium. She graduated as a\nregistered nurse at the Catholic College o
 f Higher Education of\nLeuven in 2002. In 2005 she finished her Masters in
  Nursing Science\nat the Catholic University of Leuven\, and in 2007 she f
 inished her\nAcademic Teacher Education. This year she has also become a m
 ember\nof the 1st Masterclass in Oncology Nursing in Malta. She has\nsever
 al years of working experience in the field of Geriatric\nOncology.\n
