 lm.\n\nChristopher Manfredi is an authority on the role of the judiciary\n
 in democratic societies\, especially the Supreme Court\, principally\nin C
 anada and the United States. His research focuses on the\npolitical and po
 licy impact of rights litigation.\n\nThe 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Alumni Association would l
 ike to extend a special thank\nyou to Commander (Retired) Gregory M. Aikin
 s\, BA’80\, for his time\nand effort in planning this event. We would also
  like to thank the\nCanadian Navy for allowing us to use their ship.\n\nCo
 mmander (Ret’d) Aikins spent most of his career as a naval\nofficer\, comm
 anding two Canadian Navy frigates along the way. After\nretiring almost si
 x years ago\, he became the Senior Managing\nPartner of Intellection Consu
 lting Inc.\, a company primarily\nconcerned with project management and ma
