 Medicine and Vice-Principal\, Health Affairs\, Richard I. Levin will\nmode
 rate a panel discussion featuring some of the University’s most\ndistingui
 shed cancer researchers. They will outline the critical\ndiscoveries takin
 g place at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s new state-of-the-art Life\nSciences Complex. From inve
 stigations in disease to pharmaceutical\napplications\, 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ is leading 
 the way in translating research\ninto better health and patient care.\nThe
  panel will feature Doctors Nicole Beauchemin\, Gordon Shore\nand Michel L
 . Tremblay.\nNicole Beauchemin is a Professor in the Departments of\nBioch
 emistry\, Medicine and Oncology and is on staff at the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ\nCancer Cent
 re. Her current research examines the relationship\nbetween obesity and th
 e development of colon cancer.\nGordon Shore\, PhD’74\, is a Professor in 
 the Departments of\nBiochemistry and Oncology at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ\, as well as co-fo
 under\,\ndirector and chief scientific officer of Gemin X Pharmaceuticals\
 ,\nwhich specializes in the discovery and development of target-based\nnov
 el cancer therapeutics.\nMichel L. Tremblay is a James 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Professor an
 d Director of\nthe 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Cancer Centre. He also holds the Jeanne and J. L
 ouis\nLévesque Chair in Cancer Research at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and was recently made a
