DESCRIPTION:Presentation will be in English: The objective of this short\nw
 orkshop course is to expose participants to modeling group and\nindividual
 -level trajectories using a latent variable framework.\nSpecific to this c
 ourse will be the discussion of flexibility in\nmodeling experience over t
 ime and in context. Issues of individual\nversus shared patterns of “growt
 h” will be discussed\, along with\nstrategies to model timing. Contextual 
 or “multilevel” models will\nalso be discussed in terms of capturing indiv
 idual experiences over\ntime and in place. All models will be discussed in
  terms of theory\,\nmodel fit tests and appropriateness for research quest
 ions in the\nsocial sciences. All examples and exercises will use the Duke
 \nEstablished Populations for Epidemiologic Studies of the Elderly\n(EPESE
 ) data set and Mplus software. The workshop is limited to 15\nparticipants
  who will be selected on the basis of the course’s\nrelevance to their res
