 ncy in a thesis program and who submit their theses to GPSO\n(Thesis Offic
 e) on or before this date are not required to register\nfor the 2008-2009 
 academic year. Students who have already\nregistered for the year must ask
  the Graduate and Postdoctoral\nStudies Office\, in writing\, to delete th
 eir registration at the\ntime of their thesis submission\, by completing t
 he 'Request to\nCancel Graduating Program Registration' form on the Web.\n
 NOTE: Students should not expect to graduate in\nFall 2008\, but must grad
 uate by Fall 2009 (at the\nlatest)\, otherwise\, they must be reinstated a
 nd will be charged\nretroactive registration fees for all unregistered ses
 sions up to\nand including the term in which they graduate.\n
