 arning-centered principles to prepare and deliver effective lessons. Addit
 ionally\, they learn a range of teaching strategies to promote student eng
 agement and develop a preliminary plan of how to implement them in various
  course settings.NOTE: Only first-time TAs will be paid for participating 
 in this training session and are eligible for a maximum of 3 hours of paid
