  Jennifer Robert-Colomby\n\nWomen in Cities International\n\n \n\n \n\n \n
 \n \n\n \n\nAbout: Of French and American origin\, Jennifer graduated from
  the University of Montreal with a Master in International Compared Politi
 cs in 2012. She also holds a Master of Research in International Relations
  from the Sorbonne University for which she wrote a thesis on the role of 
 women in peace processes and conflict resolution in Colombia. Building on 
 her experience in different international and private organizations such a
 s UNESCO and Universalia\, she has worked for Women in Cities Internationa
 l as a senior analyst for three years. As such\, she has conducted a liter
 ature review of gender-sensitive indicators for monitoring and evaluating 
 community safety projects and public safety policies as part of the UN-Hab
 itat 'Safer Cities' programme. She has also created training materials for
  the Because I am a Girl - Urban Programme\, in partnership with Plan Inte
 rnational and UN-Habitat\, which aims at building safer and more inclusive
  cities for girls. Over the years\, she has developed a good expertise in 
 monitoring and evaluation of projects promoting gender mainstreaming in ur
 ban planning\, and the inclusion of women and girls in public spaces from 
 an intersectional perspective.\n\n \n\nThe Urban Studies @91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Seminar S
 eries invites speakers to present on a variety of ongoing research\, proje
 cts\, and issues related to urban studies. The seminars are hosted and org
 anized by the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ School of Urban Planning\, with participation from th
 e 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ School of Environment\, and Department of Geography. The seminars
  typically run from noon to 1pm on Fridays throughout the semester and are
  open to students\, faculty\, and other members of the urban studies group
 .\n
