 edge of French\, or a very limited knowledge of the language\, do not need
  to take the placement test. They must sign a waiver (see below) attesting
  that they have no knowledge of French\, or only a very minimal knowledge 
 of it. They will then be registered in a Basic French course (CFRN 102). H
 owever\, the department has the right to transfer any student to another l
 evel if the waiver does not reflect his or her true level.\n		Signed waivers
  must be returned to our office as soon as possible to guarantee the stude
 nt a place in the session.\n\n
