 \nHis public lecture is entitled: 'Are we there yet? Climbing the rungs of
  the cosmic ladder'. The lecture will be followed by night sky observation
 s (weather permitting) and possibly a tour of an experimental astrophysics
  laboratory (to be confirmed). This event is intended for a general audien
 ce\, and it is free of charge. No reservation is necessary. Snacks and ref
