 al journey as a Muslim activist in Canada’\nMs. Junaid is national board m
 ember of the Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW) and Governor\, Area 5
 1\, Toasmasters International.\nLeila Bedeir – ‘Challenges facing Muslim w
 omen in Quebec’\nMs. Bedeir is a founding member of the Collective des fém
 inistes musulmanes du Québec and teaches Humanities and Women's Studies at
  Vanier College.\nAfra Jalabi – ‘Narratives of gender identity in Islam’\n
 Ms. Jalabi is a columnist\, a member of the Syrian National Council\, Vice
 -chair of the Day After\, and a PhD Candidate at Concordia University.\n
