To help prevent the spread of rabies among raccoons, a “capture‑vaccinate‑release” operation is underway in Montérégie this month to curb cases in the region and prevent their spread toward Montreal.

Michael Libman, MD, is a Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and a member of the Centre for Tropical Diseases at 91˿��Ƶ.
