The 91˿��Ƶ Institute of Air and Space Law is pleased to announce the appointment of IASL Executive Director Stefan-Michael Wedenig as Assistant Professor (Professional) at the Faculty of Law, 91˿��Ƶ.
Prof. Wedenig holds a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from 91˿��Ƶ, as well as a Magister Iuris (Mag.iur.) from Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and a member of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL).

Dr. Arnold Agaba (Postdoctoral Researcher and Chair the Research Group on African Air and Space Law) served as a judge during the competition, sharing his expertise and helping to inspire the next generation of African space lawyers.

CASSOA, EASA and 91˿��Ƶ Institute of Air and Space Law, wrapped up a crucial 2-day Legal Workshop focused on developing uniform air laws for the EAC partner states. The workshop brought together legal delegates from the national Civil Aviation Authorities and the national Ministries of Transport of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda Somalia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania as well as aviation experts from the East African Community (EAC) Secretariate and Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency (CASSOA).
