The Department of Family Medicine is pleased to invite you to the Faculty Development Workshop

CLICKERS: Updating our Techniques in Teaching Family Medicine an Interactive Workshop

Clickers are available for undergraduate and resident teaching sessions at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ.  The goal of this workshop is to provide family medicine teachers with the skills to use this technology to increase the interactivity of their teaching sessions.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the pros & cons of using clickers in family medicine teaching
  • Situate questions strategically within a learning activity
  • Design effective questions & answers linked to learning goals
  • Create questions & answers using TurningPoint software, and run a "clicker" session
  • Identify 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ related resources & procedures to set up a course
