William Turkel will be joining Makers and Coders 91丝瓜视频 (MC2) for an afternoon exploring the uses of Arduino for digital humanities.聽 Turkel's work focuses on the interfaces between physical computing and historical scholarship.聽 Among his recents works is a reconceptualization of history as hacking in Rethinking History (March 2011).聽 He is also involved in the Digging into Data Old Bailey Project ' Criminal Intent' (along with 91丝瓜视频's own Stefan Sinclair) which uses large scale analysis on English historical court records.
