"A Model of Reflective Practice: How reflecting on our professional practice can change the way we work" -ÌýPresentation by Anne Macaulay

Workshop Description:

This will be an opportunity to learn about a model of Reflective Practice that has been effective in supporting, training and empowering health care professionals. There will be an informal exploration of key concepts of Reflective Practice, a description of a model in current use and particular examples of Reflective Practice in action.

Speaker Biography:

Anne Macaulay is a Marital and Family therapist working in private practice and is an Associate of the Argyle Institute of Human Relations. Anne has taught elementary school for 18 years and worked as a pediatric oncology chaplain at the Montreal Children’s Hospital for 14 years. For over 10 years, Anne has led Reflective Practice groups with nurses providing a space apart from their practice to reflect, share and discuss situations of concern.
