Dr Geoffrey A. Landis, research scientist (NASA John Glenn Research Center) and science fiction writer, will address the future feasibility of the exploration of Venus. While the surface of Venus is an extremely hostile environment, at about 50 kilometres above the surface the atmosphere of Venus is a more earth-like environment. Dr Landis proposes exploration and settlement options.
