Since the early 90s, 听occupational therapy 听has shifted its focus in practice, education and research towards activity and participation in meaningful and relevant life situations for our patients and clients. This also challenges our development of assessments and evaluations used in clinical practice and research. I will share some of the challenges and dilemmas I have encountered over the years as a clinician and researcher, and also introduce some of the current tools we are working on at the division of Occupational therapy at the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden
