Join the 91丝瓜视频 Health Centre and the Montreal Filipino community for a special fundraising concert in memory of Magdalena Fernandez Valdez, who died of cancer in 1997 leaving behind five children. Her family is holding a concert in her memory on Saturday, October 17th, 2009 at 6 p.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Church, 5320 C么te-des-Neiges. Tickets cost $12. For more information, call 514-934-1934, ext. 71228. Proceeds will help build the new Comprehensive Cancer Centre on the Glen Campus. Construction begins this December.
