In the Far North of Cameroon, twelve young volunteers are helping kids gain access to an education. It鈥檚 the journey of their lives. And it鈥檚 not as simple as you鈥檇 think. VSO Canada pleased to announce the release of their new documentary, On Est Ensemble/We Are Together. The film follows six Canadian volunteers and their Cameroonian counterparts as they work on a development project entitled Our Schools, Our Success in the Far North of Cameroon. On Est Ensemble/We Are Together uniquely combines footage shot by volunteers in the field with professional footage and commentary by local development professionals. Collaboratively conceived, shot, and edited with groundbreaking Canadian filmmakers at Ear to the Ground Planning, On Est Ensemble/We Are Together could change the way you look at development. On Est Ensemble/We Are Together screens in both English and French, with subtitles. The 24-minute film will be followed by a 30 minute group discussion hosted by a returned VSO volunteer.
